JUNIOR SUMMER SCHOOL – AUGUST 2024

When do our sessions run?

The sessions will run Monday 12th August – Friday 16th August from 10am-4pm. We hold a mini concert on the Friday at 3pm, where we invite parents to come and see what the students have learnt.

Great Lindford Primary, St Leger Drive, Milton Keynes MK14 5BL

Who can join?

Our Summer School is open to children ages 7-11. Each student receives a free Rock Project t-shirt when they sign up!

What happens each day?

Each day will consist of various activities, including two hours of professional tuition in one of the students chosen instrument. Other activities include music quizzes and games in which students will learn music theory and skills, in a fun and engaging way.

There is a games room with a variety of board games, Nintendo and Xbox for students to use during break time.

We also have jam sessions in which the students will practise the songs we are learning as a band, ready for our end of week mini-concert!

Do I need my own instrument?

If you do not have your own instrument, we can provide one at no extra cost. We provide drums to save you carrying your drum kit!
